The findings from the Washington Student Ability Report suggest that despite having the potential to excel in today’s most sought-after careers, Washington students remain largely unaware or uninterested in the various academic and professional opportunities available to them, as well as their own capabilities.


The top three career clusters with the most significant exposure gap between high aptitude and low interest for WA high school students are: Computers & Technology, Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Health Science.
